A Tiny Home Project for Harlan

County Homeless Students

Our Mission

While dining at the Governor's Prayer Breakfast in Lexington, KY. early in 2019, a group of leaders and I heard the heart-wrenching story Harlan County Judge-Executive Danny Mosley told of some students in Harlan Co. The story was clear and compelling. The issue of homelessness among young students in Harlan County, and many other places in Kentucky is real and we decided before leaving the room to act upon what we had heard.  With many business leaders, church leaders, civic and government leaders we are responding to the needs of Kentucky! We have pledged to build tiny homes to be provided for the vision of County Judge Mosley and the Village of Hope in Harlan County.

Awakening Mosaic is a collaborative effort of many leaders laboring together for the CAUSE of Kentucky's great awakening. Would your church like to raise money to build a tiny home as a mission project?  Would you like to get involved in this project? We would be thrilled for you to partner with leaders all around Kentucky to meet this challenging need in Kentucky.

WATCH THIS! We are so excited to have the first FIVE tiny homes of Awakening Mosaic in finishing stages to deliver to address the issue of homeless high school students in Harlan County, KY. Thanks to amazing leaders who have helped us make this initial part off the dream come closer to reality. Thanks especially to Dan Mosley County Judge Executive of Harlan County, KY. The dream of the Cumberland Hope Village will come to pass!

Village of Hope

Nestled in beautiful Harlan County is the exciting future project of the Village of Hope.  With 1100 students in Harlan County High School there are over 500 considered homeless. This statistic is staggering. We heard Harlan County Judge Danny Mosley tell the inspiring story of a young man named Jordan and a group of courageous students and we knew we could not remain silent.  Kentucky Awakening Mosaic is partnering with leaders all over Kentucky to address this critical need. Whether business, civic, religious or governmental leaders we are committed to working together to impact positively a young generation of Kentuckians! Awakening Mosaic is all about leaders coming together for a CAUSE greater than themselves - Creating Synergy & Releasing Strategy! We are very near the completion of the very first tiny home for this project and we are excited to share it with you. When we come together anything is possible! Revival and Awakening are far more than a gathering - it is a Kingdom collaboration for transformation in the lives of people. Mosaic: Together we do this!

Construction of the first tiny home began in August of 2019
